Job summary

Eastern Kentucky University is seeking a Systems Administrator to manage the university's on‑premises and cloud infrastructure, ensuring security, reliability and lifecycle management across environments.

The role requires strong knowledge of server OS, cloud platforms, directory services, storage, backup, monitoring and automation with hands‑on experience in Azure, M365, AD and VMware. Hybrid work is offered.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/IS/Cybersecurity or related field.
• Experience: Three years in systems administration, cloud platforms, or related technologies.
• Demonstrated experience with Azure, M365, Entra ID, AD, Windows Server, Linux, VMware, monitoring, scripting and security.
