Job summary

New Enterprise Stone & Lime Co. (NESL) is seeking a Systems Administrator to maintain and modernize our IT infrastructure across Windows, Linux, virtualized environments, identity services, backups, and cloud services as we move toward AWS.

The role requires ownership of daily operations, collaboration with senior staff, and involvement in endpoint management with Intune, patching, and KnowBe4 campaigns. On-site base with a potential hybrid schedule and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of systems administration experience.
• Hands-on Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Linux, virtualization, backups, and networking basics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot Windows and Linux servers, virtual environments, storage, and cloud services.
• Support Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and related infrastructure services.
• Monitor system health, incidents, backups, restores, and disaster recovery activities.
• Manage endpoints with Intune and transition from SCCM/MECM; deploy apps and configurations.
• Test and deploy server/workstation patches; report compliance.
• Administer KnowBe4 training and phishing campaigns.
• Contribute to AWS migration and infrastructure upgrades; use PowerShell to automate tasks.
