Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a System Administrator, Mid, to support the operation, maintenance, and design of IT resources within a virtual HPC environment for high-performance computing and data analytics. You will install equipment and operating systems, review infrastructure, and propose improvements to enhance security and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience providing IT systems support and troubleshooting for client, server, storage, or network devices.
• Experience configuring Unix/Linux/Windows OS, installing OS software, troubleshooting, and implementing security improvements.
• Experience capacity planning, performance benchmarking, and system tuning.
• Experience supporting researchers by resolving IT roadblocks and issues.
• Knowledge of network engineering and ability to communicate computing environments to researchers.

Responsibilities

• Support operation, maintenance, and design of IT resources within a virtual HPC environment.
• Install new equipment and operating systems and prepare plans to improve efficiency and security.
