Job summary

Chainalysis Government Solutions is seeking a Systems Administrator — Government Deployments to operate, secure, and optimize Chainalysis technology within classified U.S. Intelligence Community environments.

You will work closely with customer system owners and internal CGS teams to sustain production architectures, focusing on operation, health, and security of deployed infrastructure in secure facilities.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI Clearance with Full-Scope Polygraph required at start.
• U.S. citizenship required (visa sponsorship not available).
• 5+ years of systems administration or technical delivery within classified U.S. Government environments.
• Hands-on experience with C2S/AWS and core cloud services (EC2, VPC, ELB, RDS, S3, EBS).
• Strong Linux and Windows system administration background, including web infrastructure (Apache, WSGI, PostgreSQL).
• Proven security engineering experience, RMF/STIG compliance, vulnerability remediation.
• Solid network engineering foundation: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs, firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus, EPP.
• Virtualization expertise (VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM).
• Strong written documentation and troubleshooting skills; independent in secure environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain Linux and Windows systems in government environments (C2S/AWS).
• Provision IaaS components (EC2, VPC, RDS, S3) and maintain web/app infrastructure (Apache, WSGI, PostgreSQL, WebLogic, VMware).
• Lead upgrades, patching, and release deployments; coordinate maintenance windows and post-deployment validation.
• Maintain RMF/STIG compliance; remediate vulnerabilities and support security audits.
• Configure, test, and troubleshoot TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLAN, firewalls; enable data transfer between environments.
• Develop runbooks and SOPs; provide technical support to mission users; collaborate with CGS teams.
