Chainalysis Government Solutions is seeking a Systems Administrator - Government Deployments to operate, maintain, and secure production Chainalysis technology within classified U.S. Intelligence Community environments. The role emphasizes sustainment over new deployments and requires on-site work in the Washington, D.C. area.

You will collaborate with customer system owners and CGS teams to ensure operational health, security, and compliance across Linux/Windows environments and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI Clearance with Full-Scope Polygraph required at start.

Responsibilities

• Systems Administration & Production Operations: Install, configure, administer, maintain, and optimize Linux and Windows OS within government environments; manage IaaS components (EC2, VPC, RDS, S3) and web/app infra (Apache, WSGI, PostgreSQL, WebLogic, VMware, OpenShift).
• System Maintenance & Release Management: Lead upgrades, patches, configuration changes, and deployments; verify prerequisites and coordinate maintenance windows.
• Security, Hardening & Compliance: Maintain RMF/STIG-aligned security, remediate vulnerabilities, configure firewall/IDS, support audits.
• Network & Integration Engineering: Configure/test DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLAN, firewalls; enable secure data transfer between environments.
• Backup, Recovery & Operational Resilience: Implement backup/recovery procedures; test DR; identify single points of failure.
• Customer & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Provide technical support; develop SOPs; escalate issues to CGS Product/Engineering teams.
