Williams Bros. Health Care Pharmacy is seeking a skilled IT professional to configure, install, and maintain the corporate network, systems, and security infrastructure.

You will work with internal teams to ensure high availability and reliable IT services across the organization. The role includes designing networks, supporting SANs and servers, and maintaining security controls, with a focus on proactive problem solving and clear user communications.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting end users and customers in a technical role.

Job description

Configures, installs and maintains all elements of the corporate network including voice, data, security, data storage, computing and mobility assets. Works with internal and external parties to ensure high availability of all systems.

Principal Roles and Responsibilities

General Information Technology

• Supports End Users and Customers in a positive, helpful and proactive manner.
• Troubleshoot problems reported by users. Resolves helpdesk tickets as assigned and communicates with end users to inform and educate them about root cause and the problem solution. Documents solutions in the HD solution.
• Identify and document user requirements, translate user requirements into technical specifications.
• Seeks out and recommends new and improved solutions, upgrades, processes and technologies.
• Prepares technical documentation and training aids for all systems.
• Manage IT projects.
• Develops Project Charters to define and communicate the project’s business case.
• Develops and executes test plans to validate system/application works according to end user needs.
• Develops and maintains positive relationship with vendors, consultants and other IT Solution providers.
• Assists end users with various reporting needs.
• Provides exceptional communication and teamwork among the IT Team and with all users and departments.
• Performs off hours IT support.
• Triage Help Desk tickets
• Monitors user requests via phone, email and helpdesk ticketing systems to ensure timely resolution to user issues.
• Assigns HD Tickets based on team member abilities.
• Performs other duties as assigned

Network Management

• Installs, configures and maintains all elements of the corporate network and works with internal and external parties to ensure high availability.
• Design and deploy networks.
• Ensure network connectivity throughout the company's LAN/WAN infrastructure is on par with user requirements and technical considerations.
• Support SANs, LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems.
• Maintain system efficiency.
• Ensure design of system allows all components to work properly together.
• Maintain network and system security.
• Monitor networks to ensure security and availability to users.
• Maintain integrity of the network, server deployment, and security.
• Perform network address assignment.
• Assign routing protocols and routing table configuration.
• Assign configuration of authentication and authorization of directory services.
• Maintain network facilities in individual machines, such as drivers and settings of personal computers as well as printers, faxes, scanners, etc.

Hardware Management

• Maintain network servers such as file servers, VPNgateways, intrusion detection systems.
• Deploys, maintains and administers servers, desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones/phone systems, personal digital devices, smartphones, software deployment, security updates and patches.
• Maintain hardware/software tracking and maintenance documentation
• Develop recommendations for future needs
• Troubleshoots and resolves issues
• Develops, implements and maintains disaster recovery and back-up procedures to ensure reliable recovery of information and technical assets.
• Develops, implements and maintains information and application security control procedures.

Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (includes an on-call rotation)
