We are seeking a skilled Systems Administrator with expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) to join our technology-based program supporting a key Government customer. The ideal candidate will manage the customer's application infrastructure in support of their mission, ensuring smooth operation of all systems within the Cloud environment, and leveraging AWS technologies to optimize performance and scalability.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and maintain the customer's cloud infrastructure, including EC2 Instances, networks, and cloud services.
2. Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot application hosting services.
3. Monitor system performance and audits to ensure data integrity and protection.
4. Collaborate with internal teams to identify technical requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs.
5. Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, resolving issues promptly.
6. Implement best practices for backup, disaster recovery, and system redundancy.
7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in cloud computing and IT systems administration.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2. Broad understanding of technical principles, theories, and concepts in Systems Administration with Linux-based systems.
3. Strong understanding of network engineering concepts, protocols, and security best practices for application hosting environments.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills:

1. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
2. Experience with various Cloud technologies and solutions architectures (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Oracle, etc.).
3. Proven experience as a Systems Administrator, focusing on troubleshooting application hosting environments.
4. Knowledge of state-of-the-art systems engineering principles and SecDevOps in a cloud environment.
5. AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) preferred but not required.

Pay Information:

Full-Time Salary Range: $146,670 - $249,330

Please note: This range is based on market pay structures. Salaries depend on factors such as skills, education, experience, local market conditions, and internal considerations.
