StrataTech Education Group is seeking a skilled System Administrator to join our IT team. The role focuses on day-to-day administration, security, and optimization of our IT infrastructure for a post-secondary education environment.

You will manage Windows/Linux servers, AD/Entra ID, cloud services, and on-prem/remote resources while ensuring high availability, performance, and security. Strong troubleshooting and documentation habits are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT/CS or related field.
• Experience administering Windows Server environments.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and Entra ID.
• Knowledge of virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and scripting (PowerShell).
• Familiarity with backup/disaster recovery and TCP/IP networking.

Responsibilities

• Administer Windows and Linux servers in physical/virtual environments.
• Manage Active Directory, Entra ID, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support and incident resolution within SLAs.
• Participate in on-call rotation and document processes.
