Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, implement, operate, and secure systems.
• Ensure long-term requirements of systems operations and administration are included in IS planning.
• Oversee installation, maintenance, configuration, and integrity of computer software.
• Implement operating system enhancements that improve reliability and performance.
• Monitor licensing and maintenance agreements for systems.
• Provide recommendations regarding hardware and system software planning and budgeting.
• Manage compliance with security and regulatory standards.
• Execute scripting as needed (PowerShell and Bash).
• Conduct routine audits of workstations and servers to ensure standards compliance.
• Develop and maintain OS/hardware configuration databases and documentation.
• Drive process improvements and design enhancements.
• Coordinate and verify projects across multiple environments.
• Ensure risk management and disciplined change management practices.

At Regions, the Systems Administrator oversees installing, configuring, and maintaining operating system workstations and servers, including web servers, in support of business processing requirements.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provides expertise to the design, planning, implementation, operation, and security of systems
• Ensures long-term requirements of systems operations and administration are included in the overall information systems planning of the organization
• Overseesthe installation, maintenance, configuration, and integrity of computer software
• Implements operating system enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system
• Monitors and maintains continuity with system software licensing and maintenance agreements
• Provides recommendations regarding hardware and system software planning and budgeting
• Manages compliance in Security and Regulatory standards
• Executes scripting as needed (i.e. PowerShell and Bash)
• Conducts routine hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines
• Develops and maintains a comprehensive operating system hardware and software configuration database/library of all supporting documentation
• Drives improvements to processes and design enhancements
• Coordinates, facilitates, and verifies projects across multiple environments
• Ensures compliance with risk management programs, rules and regulations, and cybersecurity practices; identifies opportunities for and supports process improvements; applies disciplined change management practices

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or a technical training program and six (6)years of related experience
• Or High School Diploma or GED and ten (10) years of related experience

Certifications/Licensures

• CompTIA Security+ certification

This position is currently offsite, preferably close to a Regions office within our retail branch footprint (click here to see our locations). Associates will work from their home primarily and may be expected to go on site for meetings or other events as needed.

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

Job Range Target

Minimum: $97,801.00 USD

50th Percentile: $126,660.00 USD

Incentive Pay Plans: This job is not incentive eligible.
