Job summary

Onyx Point, LLC. seeks an active TS/SCI with full-scope poly security-cleared Senior System Administrator to join our team. The role involves supporting Tier 1 and Tier 2 help desk operations, configuring UNIX and Windows environments, and implementing reliability improvements.

Candidates should have at least ten years as a SA in similar programs, a Bachelor's in a technical field, and US citizenship. AWS experience is a plus, with Linux and Windows Server 2022, Bash scripting, and strong

• Active TS/SCI with full-scope poly security clearance and U.S. citizenship is required.
• Ten years of experience as a System Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline is required.
• AWS experience and familiarity with Linux/Windows environments are preferred.

Job description

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION YOU MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE TS/SCI W/ FULL SCOPE POLYGRAPH SECURITY CLEARANCE (U.S. CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED)

Handling both initial Help Desk inquiries (Tier 1) and escalated, complex problems (Tier 2). Configuring and managing both UNIX and Windows operating systems, and implementing enhancements to improve system reliability and performance.

Experience with AWS (would be nice), intermediate Linux, Windows 10/11, Windows server 2022, Bash/other scripting

Required Experience

Shall have a minimum of ten (10) years' experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.

Desired Experience

Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Education

A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in technical discipline is required

Compensation

We are committed to providing fair and competitive compensation. The salary range for this position is $78,000 to $250,000 per year. This range reflects the compensation offered across the locations where we hire. The exact salary will be determined based on the candidate's work location, specific role, skill set, and level of expertise.
