Job summary

Flybridge Staffing is seeking a Systems Administrator for a client in the West Palm Beach area. This contract-to-hire, on-site role supports the HD team with escalated PC issues and servers/applications deployment and troubleshooting.

Candidates should have an AS degree and about 5 years of Windows Server administration, experience with Windows, Azure AD, Nutanix, scripting (PowerShell/Python), backup and recovery, GPO, Entra ID/AD Connect, and AD health reports.

Qualifications

• AS degree and 5 years of Windows Server Admin experience preferred.
• Experience with Windows operating systems and Azure AD.
• Experience administering physical and virtual servers. (Windows, Nutanix preferred)
• Create, clone, and modify virtual images using the company hypervisor. (Nutanix preferred)
• Experience overseeing patch deployment and software packaging.
• Scripting: PowerShell, Python, custom scripts as needed.
• Experience with backup, restore, and recovery procedures is required.
• GPO and security controls implementation and deployment.
• Experience with Entra ID and AD Connect preferred.
• Experience administering/creating policies within system tools. Including writing technical documentation for Internal reference.
• Generates reports on health systems, uptime, storage usage, etc. on an Ad Hoc basis.
• Performs Active Directory tasks, GPO, and DNS.
• Responsible for Windows Server and Workstation Image Development.
• Assists with inventory of software and hardware.
• Supports all back-office applications (AD, Azure, Exchange, Office 365 Administration, Mimecast, GPO)
• Provides on-call and after-hours support.
• Requests and supports ticket management.

Responsibilities

• Assist the HD team with escalated PC issues and deploy/troubleshoot systems and applications at the server level.
• Support Windows Server administration tasks and maintain server images.
• Provide on-call and after-hours support.
• Manage ticketing: create, track, and close tickets.
• Develop and maintain system documentation for internal reference.
• Oversee patch deployment and software packaging.
