Qualifications

We've partnered with a global industry leader looking for its next IT Systems Administrator. The ideal candidate will bring 3–6+ years of infrastructure and applications experience in an automotive or manufacturing environment with strong network administration, Windows Server, SQL, ERP support, and application troubleshooting skills. Someone who can support both the plant floor and office systems while handling network, server, and software issues would be the strongest fit.

Must-Haves:

• 3–5+ years of IT experience in manufacturing
• Network administration (TCP/IP, routers, switches, VLANs, WiFi)
• Windows Server, Exchange, and SQL Server administration
• Application installation, upgrades, and troubleshooting
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
• Ability to support both office users and the manufacturing floor

Duties:

• All functions related to supporting the day-to-day maintenance of all IT hardware
• Evaluate new hardware, software, and systems while assisting in establishing and enforcing company standards
• Act as a resolution “helpdesk” to support plant and office users
• Provide operational support for connected manufacturing systems and hardware to minimize production downtime
• Perform systematic analysis and track corrective and preventative action plans
• IT onboarding for new employees, set up and administer network accounts following departmental procedures and security protocols
• Implement and manage virtual desktop environments
• Design and implement shop floor hardware solutions based on business requirements
