Job summary

Quevera is seeking a Systems Administrator with an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph to support Fort Meade, Maryland. The role covers the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructure across client, server, storage, and network environments.

The candidate will perform system monitoring, problem resolution, and operating system administration in UNIX, Windows, and other environments, delivering Tier 1 and 2 support and collaborating with ISSOs and Software

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline; five (5) years of additional System Administrator experience can substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
• Ten (10) years of experience as a System Administrator in programs of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Two (2) years of experience with automation scripting (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)

Responsibilities

• Implement, troubleshoot, and maintain IT systems and supporting infrastructure.
• Monitor system operations and diagnose issues across client, server, storage, and network components.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to users accessing IT systems.
• Escalate issues and communicate system status to management and internal customers.
• Support dispatch and resolution of system and hardware issues.
• Configure and manage UNIX, Windows and other OS installations and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and maintain network components and implement OS enhancements for reliability.
• Assist ISSOs and lead Software Engineers with updates to security software, hardware and firmware.
• Maintain active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

Salary Range: $126,102.00 To $141,234.00 Annually

Job Description:

Quevera is seeking a Systems Administrator with an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph in Fort Meade, Maryland.

This role supports the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructure, including day-to-day operations, system monitoring, problem resolution, and operating system administration across client, server, storage, and network environments.

Job Responsibilities:

• Implement, troubleshoot, and maintain IT systems and supporting infrastructure.
• Monitor system operations and identify, diagnose, and resolve issues involving client, server, storage, and network components.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support, including assisting users with accessing and using IT systems.
• Escalate technical issues and communicate system status to management and internal customers.
• Support the dispatch and resolution of system and hardware issues.
• Configure and manage UNIX, Windows, and other applicable operating systems, including operating system software installation and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot, configure, and maintain network components, and implement operating system enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
• Assist Information System Security Officers (ISSOs) and lead Software Engineers with timely updates to information system security software, hardware, and firmware.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required.
• Ten (10) years of experience as a System Administrator supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Five (5) years of additional System Administrator experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
• Two (2) years of experience with automation scripting, such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
