Quevera is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) in Odenton, MD to support the organization's information assurance program. A current TS/SCI with Poly clearance is required to apply.

The role involves coordinating security policies, managing risk, and ensuring compliance with DoD/NSA processes. You'll work with a skilled team on mission-critical systems, perform day-to-day security operations, and contribute to documenting security plans and certification packages.

Qualifications

• Current TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required.
• 4 years of related experience if holding a High School Diploma.
• 2 years of related experience with an Associate Degree plus IAM Level I (SEC+).

Responsabilités

• Supports an information assurance program for a program, organization, or system.
• Coordinates, implements, and enforces information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies.
• Maintains operational security posture for the information system or program.
• Manages day-to-day security operations and security aspects of the information system.
• Evaluates security solutions to meet requirements for processing classified information; conducts vulnerability and risk assessments.
• Provides configuration management for security software, hardware, and firmware.
• Manages changes to the system and assesses security impact.
• Prepares and reviews SSPs, Risk Assessment Reports, C&A packages, and SRTMs.
• Supports security authorization per NSA/CSS and DoD processes.

REQUIRED - MUST have a current TS/SCI Polygraph clearance to apply for role. Only those with a current TS/SCI with Poly clearance will be considered.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides support for a program, organization, system, or enclave's information assurance program.
• Provides support for proposing, coordinating, implementing, and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies
• Maintains operational security posture for an information system or program to ensure information systems security policies, standards, and procedures are established and followed.
• Assists with the management of security aspects of the information system and performs day-to-day security operations of the system.
• Evaluate security solutions to ensure they meet security requirements for processing classified information. Performs vulnerability/risk assessment analysis to support certification and accreditation.
• Provides configuration management (CM) for information system security software, hardware, and firmware.
• Manages changes to system and assesses the security impact of those changes.
• Prepares and reviews documentation to include System Security Plans (SSPs), Risk Assessment Reports, Certification and Accreditation (C&A) packages, and System Requirements Traceability Matrices (SRTMs).
• Supports security authorization activities in compliance with NSA/CSS Information System Certification and Accreditation Process (NISCAP) and DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP).

Required Experience

High School Diploma with 4 years of work experience in any combination of: System Administrator (SA), Information System Security Officer (ISSO), Information System Security Engineer (ISSE), Information Technology (IT) Service Desk, Computer Network Defense (CND) Analyst, Telecommunication Technician, and Network Administration.

OR

Associates Degree in Information Technology Discipline with 2 years of work experience in any combination of: System Administrator (SA), Information System Security Officer (ISSO), Information System Security Engineer (ISSE), Information Technology (IT) Service Desk, Computer Network Defense (CND) Analyst, Telecommunication Technician, and Network Administration Certifications: Compliance with DoD 8570.01-M with a minimum certification of IAM Level I (SEC+)
