Function :

Accomplishes Information Systems Departmental objectives by managing the Systems Administrator and Support Staff.

Duties and Responsibilities :
  • Maintains System Admin staff by selecting, orienting, and training employees and developing personal growth paths.
  • Communicates job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job performance; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; developing, coordinating, and enforcing S&T Bank systems, procedures, and productivity standards.
  • Participates in developing and achieving strategic goals by providing pertinent business, service, and operations information; identifying and evaluating options; choosing a course of action; defining objectives; evaluating outcomes.
  • Manages financial objectives by forecasting requirements; assisting with the preparation of the annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
  • Maintains quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards; analyzing and resolving quality and customer service problems; identifying trends; recommending system improvements; aassume accountability for complex issues by providing advanced support through all channels until full resolution is achieved.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational training\\workshops; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional organizations.
  • Manages system upgrade projects; maintains proper documentation in accordance with the bank's project lifecycle, documentation standards, and change management procedures.
  • Ensure all new releases/updates for core banking applications are implemented in a timely manner and communicated to end users by leading the FIS PACE committee to review and identify applicable changes, identify and document validation requirements, and identify and document communication plan.
  • Manages FIS Managed IT escalation issues, development of Managed IT Knowledgebase articles as they pertain to system administration and troubleshooting for the FIS Managed IT Service Desk.
  • Collaborates with IT Solutions Architect Team to transition Administrative support as required.
  • Complete other tasks and duties as assigned.
Education:

Requires a four-year college degree or equivalent. Certification from a leading IT provider, such as CompTIA Project + or PMI's PMP; preferred.

Experience:

Ten plus years general experience and two to five years of specialized experience with application support management.

Physical Demands:

Operates a keypad device: 90% of the day. The primary parts of the body involved in performing the above tasks are the fingers, thumbs, hands, wrists, elbows, legs, lower and upper torso and feet. Standing is required one hour per day. Sitting is required six hours per day. Walking is required one hour per day. Routinely lifts 10 lbs., maximum lifts 20 lbs., one time per day. Requires the use of manual dexterity skills for typing and data entry on a frequent basis, up to 60% of the business day. Possess the ability to focus visually at a close distance of 18\"-20\" for a period of up to 60% of the business day. Must be able to occasionally lift and/ or move or carry up to 20 lbs. Offered rates and salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on experience, education, and evidenced position specific skill requirements.

For roles that are incentive eligible, payment is based upon the plan document and company, business, and/or individual performance.

Salary Range:

$65,000.00 - $161,700.00
