The Pennsylvania State University Libraries invites applications for the Systematic Review Librarian. This 48-week tenure-line faculty role reports to the Associate Director of HHSL and leads the Systematic Review Service in partnership with Penn State College of Medicine and Milton S.

Qualifications

• MLS degree from an ALA-accredited program or equivalent.
• Experience in collaborative research and systematic review expert searcher training.
• Familiarity with PRISMA/JBI and Rayyan/Covidence.
• Experience as a liaison librarian providing instruction, reference, and research support.
• Strong knowledge of print and digital information resources.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a research team.
• Commitment to fostering an equitable and inclusive workplace.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Libraries Systematic Review Service.
• Serve as the primary librarian for advanced information synthesis projects with Penn State College of Medicine and Milton S. Hershey Medical Center researchers.
• Provide reference services and function as a faculty departmental liaison to clinical departments, Nursing Education, and the Physician's Assistant Program.
