Job summary
Franklin Templeton in Philadelphia is seeking a Systematic Equity Analyst to provide quantitative and fundamental analysis for Small, Select, Mid and Large Cap value and dynamic portfolios. You will analyze securities, sectors, and portfolios, and perform financial statement reviews focusing on operating earnings and balance sheet strength.
You will collaborate with portfolio managers, support performance attribution and client reporting, assist with data maintenance and portfolio rebalancing,
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in equity markets with quantitative research
- Strong mathematical mindset for research and problem solving
- Experience with large datasets, data extraction and interpretation
Responsibilities
- Conduct securities research within a team framework
- Assist portfolio managers with data maintenance and rebalancing
- Support portfolio research through data assembly, statistical analyses and quantitative studies
- Contribute to portfolio attribution analysis and client reporting
- Assist in R&D of new products and enhancements
