Job summary

Franklin Templeton seeks a Director of Investment Risk and Quantitative Analysis to advance portfolio construction, risk analytics, and tax-aware investing across thousands of accounts.

You will partner with Portfolio Management, Research, and Enterprise Risk to evaluate model performance, enhance optimization, and develop advanced risk frameworks, while coordinating with stakeholders to improve tracking and tax outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years in Investment Risk or Quantitative roles.
• Strong background in risk management, portfolio optimization and tax-aware investing.
• Experience with direct indexing and equity factor models.
• Proven ability to translate complex analyses into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Drive risk and quantitative strategy for Canvas products.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with PM, Research and Risk teams.
• Develop scalable analytics using Python, SQL; validate models and tax alpha.
