Job summary

Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, VA, seeks an experienced executive to lead IR, Breast Imaging, and ultrasound modalities across the system. The role directs technical operations, partners with site leadership to align with mission, and drives high-quality, cost-effective radiology services.

Responsibilities include setting goals, analyzing productivity, improving safety and throughput, ensuring ACR accreditation, and advancing capacity planning and staff development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum 7 years clinical experience.
• Minimum 7 years managerial/supervisory experience.
• Certifications in CT, NMTCB, ARRT, and ARDMS.

Responsibilities

• Directs system-wide daily clinical and business operations for assigned modalities.
• Establishes goals and benchmarks for oversight areas.
• Analyzes productivity and develops action plans against goals.
• Implements capacity and throughput initiatives to improve efficiency.
• Ensures staff safety and aligns activities with safety guidelines.
• Collaborates with leadership to support accreditation (ACR).
