Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, seeks a System Support Executive Chef to provide cross-facility culinary leadership across a 9-hospital network in the Chicagoland area.

You will step into Executive Chef roles as needed to ensure patient dining quality, safety, and operational continuity while driving cost controls and staff development. This is a dynamic role requiring travel and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with 1 year culinary/foodservice experience
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive foodservice leadership experience, preferably in healthcare/hospitality
• ServSafe Manager Certification preferred
• Ability to travel daily within Chicagoland area and nationally if needed

Responsibilities

• Provide culinary and operational leadership across multiple acute care hospitals.
• Assess kitchen operations and implement best practices to improve quality and efficiency.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop culinary team members.
• Ensure consistent execution of menus, recipes, and production standards.
• Maintain compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Collaborate with Clinical Nutrition, Patient Services, and Nursing teams.
