Job summary

STRATEGIC STAFFING SOLUTIONS (S3) in Detroit, MI seeks a System Tester & Trainer on a 12-month W2 contract, hybrid on-site Tue-Thu. The role combines quality assurance testing with end-user training development and delivery to support enterprise systems adoption.

You will design and execute test plans, document defects, and deliver engaging training programs to diverse user groups, aligning with business needs and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in software or systems testing (QA/UAT).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience designing and delivering end-user or technical training programs.
• Demonstrated experience writing test plans, test cases, and defect reports.
• Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps, HP ALM).

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new and updated systems.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and UAT testing across enterprise applications.
• Identify, log, and track defects; collaborate with development teams for timely resolution.
• Validate system configurations, data integrity, and end-to-end workflows in staging/production.
• Coordinate and support system patching, upgrades, and release validation activities.
• Design, develop, and deliver end-user training materials and sessions.
