Job summary

Volto Consulting is seeking a System and Verification Engineer in Columbus, IN to design, develop, and validate comprehensive test strategies for Battery Management System architectures.

You will create System Test Plans, develop test cases, and configure CAN/CAN FD, LIN, and Ethernet networks while maintaining traceability from requirements to tests. Collaboration with software, hardware, and system teams is essential to ensure ASPICE-compliant verification and issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing, developing, and validating Requirement Based Testing, System Integration Testing, Functional Testing, End to End Validation and Fault Injection Testing.
• Experience of Automotive communication using CAN, J1939, OBD and UDS protocols
• AUTOSAR application development would be an added advantage
• Require Battery Management System Domain knowledge
• Collaborate with software, hardware, and system engineers to resolve issues

Responsibilities

• Create System Test Plans, Test Specifications, Test Procedures, and Test Schedules.
• Develop system-level test cases for BMS functionalities
• Configure and maintain test benches and HIL environments
• Configure communication networks such as CAN, CAN FD, LIN, and Ethernet
• Establish requirement traceability between requirements and test cases
• Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA, ALM, or RV&S
• Deliver as per defined Change Request and Configuration Management process and adhere to ASPICE standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across software and hardware domains
