Job summary

HighRes BioSolutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced production leader at our Beverly, MA facility to drive manufacturing excellence.

The role requires guiding teams, meeting KPIs, and maintaining 5S discipline on the shop floor while ensuring procedures and safety standards are followed. Responsibilities include cross-functional collaboration, issue resolution on the production floor, and ongoing coaching to optimize productivity and quality.

Qualifications

• 7+ years proven manufacturing experience.
• Can-do attitude, strong initiative, highly collaborative and accountable.
• Must possess the ability to multi-task and react quickly and professionally in high stress situations.
• Strong ability to motivate team members.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, oral and written communication and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to understand the role in the overall business process and appropriately support all organizations.

Responsibilities

• Attends stand-up, team, prebuild and post build meetings.
• Travel 30% of the time.
• Support production manager in tracking toward departmental KPIs.
• Support System Area Lead, and temporary step in as day to day manager when production manager is Out of Office.
• Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
• Giving feedback back to manager on all tech’s workmanship.
• Ensure work cells are clean and organized at the end of day.
• Maintaining shop floor cleanliness – 5S compliance.
• Ensure whiteboards are up to date with the latest data.
• Checking project status emails and Jira reports; be proactive in solving issues on the production floor.
• Maintaining a safe work environment; reporting accidents and near misses.
• Order floor stock material; maintain tooling and housekeeping.
• Ensures compliance with written procedures and up-to-date monitoring.
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized area.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities are required; flexibility to re-prioritize tasks.
• Must have thorough knowledge of company products and procedures.
• Reviews and approvals of all manufacturing records.
• Knowledge of methods and equipment and training on equipment and processes.
• Communicate effectively, in written and oral forms.
• Maintains quality by enforcing organizational standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintaining shop floor cleanliness – toolboxes are closed, and tools are put away and other 5S items. Left over pallets/boxes are thrown away, no trip hazards and benches all benches should be clean.

• Maintaining a safe work environment.
• Reporting accidents and near misses
• Order floor stock material.
• Maintains a high-level discipline of technical knowledge and capability.
• Making sure all techs follow written procedures and that those procedures are always up on the monitors while work is being performed.
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized area.
