Job summary
Apple Inc. in Cupertino, California, seeks a System Software Engineer for Human Interface Devices to develop and maintain system software, drivers, and frameworks for sensing technologies across Apple platforms, including Multi-touch.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance solutions, mentor engineers, and have opportunities to lead projects from conception through release, with a path toward technical leadership within the HID Software team.
Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science or related field with 10 years of system software experience.
- Experience in driver and framework development with native code for driver development.
- Comfortable working across both higher-level software design and lower-level systems development.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop system software for iOS, macOS, tvOS, and watchOS, focusing on drivers, frameworks, and software stacks for sensing technologies.
- Mentor engineers and have opportunities to lead projects and influence product direction.
