Job summary

Synectic Solutions, Inc. seeks a Journeyman System Security Engineer (SSE) to support PMA-268 at Patuxent River Naval Air Station. You will lead cybersecurity activities, draft and review program documentation, and coordinate with PMA-268 Cyber Leads to ensure security posture and certifications are maintained.

The role requires a U.S. citizen with Active Secret Clearance, a technical degree, and 7+ years in cyber in a DoD environment.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen with Active Secret Clearance.
• Technical or Scientific BS or BA degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of cyber-related experience in a DoD environment is highly desired.
• Program office experience highly desired; aviation engineering experience highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to PMA-268 Cyber Leads in execution of the PMA-268 Cybersecurity Program.
• Coordinate with PMA-268 Cyber Leads when changes affect security posture or certifications.
• Lead product specific System Security Engineering activities for all systems within IPT scope.
• Develop and maintain a cyber schedule with a Work Breakdown Schedule for significant efforts.
• Lead DFIA implementation through enclaves and boundary protection requirements.
• Lead system security certification and registration activities (CSfC, CDS, Cryptographic Modules).
• Initiate and coordinate with stakeholders to address actions and RFIs for IPT cybersecurity activities.
