KAIROS, Inc. in Maryland is seeking a Systems Security Engineer (SSE), Journeyman, to support the PMA-268 Cybersecurity Program at Patuxent River NAS. The role involves drafting and reviewing program documents, coordinating with cyber leads, and leading system security engineering activities across IPTs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in technical or scientific field.
• Minimum of seven years of cyber-related DoD experience.
• DoD 8570.01-M/8140 IAT Level I or II requirements (e.g., Security+ CE).

Responsibilities

• Support PMA-268 Cybersecurity Program documentation and policies.
• Coordinate with PMA-268 Cyber Leads on cybersecurity posture and certifications.
• Lead System Security Engineering activities for IPT programs.
• Develop cyber schedule and Work Breakdown Schedule (WBS).
• Provide input for SOWs, DIDs, and CDRLs for IPT contract activities.
• Identify, define, and document system security requirements.
