Job summary

Synectic Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Journeyman System Security Engineer (SSE) to support PMA-268 at Patuxent River. The role focuses on cybersecurity program execution, documentation, and adherence to RMF/CSfC practices within a DoD aviation environment.

You will lead ICEa activities, coordinate with IPT leadership, and develop schedules, ensuring cyber requirements are traced to system functionality. A Secret clearance and substantial DoD cyber experience are required.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen with an active Secret clearance.
• BS/BA in technical or scientific field from an accredited college.
• Minimum seven years of cyber-related DoD experience strongly preferred.
• Program office or aviation engineering experience is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to PMA-268 Cyber Leads in execution of the PMA-268 Cybersecurity Program.
• Lead system security engineering activities for all systems within scope of IPT; maintain SME knowledge and cyber requirement traceability.
• Develop and maintain a cyber schedule, contribute to SOWs, DIDs, and CDRLs, and document security requirements.
• Lead CPI assessments and coordinate with stakeholders to address actions and RFIs in a timely manner.
• Support CSRA/CYBERSAFE activities and RMF roles with artifact development and risk management.
