Qualifications

Active Secret clearance is required.
2 years of system safety engineering or related defense experience.
Experience with MIL-STD-882E standards and analysis tasks.
Ability to read complex electrical schematics and drawings.
Strong interpersonal skills for cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

Assist with MIL-STD-882E system safety program development and implementation.
Support management, analysis, evaluation, and verification tasks in the 100–400 series.
Analyze hardware, electrical drawings, and schematics for hazards and safety compliance.
Review procedures to ensure proper administrative controls are in place.
Collaborate with product teams to identify and mitigate hazards and maintain system performance.
Assist in preparing Safety Assessment Reports and safety briefs for reviews.
Other duties as assigned.
