Job summary

Responsibilities include implementing safety strategies, MIL-STD-882 analyses, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams to ensure system safety across the program lifecycle. Bachelor's in STEM and <2 years of related experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in STEM and <2 years of experience.
• Experience in systems, software or test engineering.
• MIL-STD-882 system safety tasks, analyses, evaluation, verification.
• Experience writing technical reports and presentations.
• Experience reviewing software code for safety.
• Ability to collaborate across disciplines and teams.

Responsibilities

• Support safety strategy execution to meet milestones with system safety features.
• Integrate system safety tasks into the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
• Coordinate with Lead System Safety Engineer for guidance and reviews.
• Participate in program meetings to address system safety items.
• Assist with safety assessment reports and briefs for customers.
• Interface with customers, program offices, subcontractors and vendors.
• Review embedded software with software teams.
• Interpret system requirements and standards.
