Job summary

Medina Regional Hospital in Hondo, TX is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for the day shift on a full-time basis. You will participate in nursing care planning, document patient data, and support patient and family education throughout the care cycle.

Required are Texas RN license and current BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP certifications, with strong clinical skills and proficiency in EMR systems; ability to adapt to unit changes and work well under pressure.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program of nursing education (associate degree, diploma or baccalaureate).
• Active Texas RN License.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP certifications.

Responsibilities

• Participates in implementing nursing care plans and delivers direct and indirect patient care.
• Obtains and records patient information including vital signs, intake/output, and assessments.
• Documents observations and communicates changes to the provider.
