Job summary

3M is seeking a System QA Engineer to join our on-site team at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN. You’ll develop and maintain test procedures, and implement automated tests in both virtual environments and with industrial hardware.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in CS or engineering and 5+ years in software quality assurance, plus experience with Python, C++, or C#. Travel up to 10% and relocation may be authorized.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and maintain manual and automated test procedures.
• Create and implement automated test software in virtual environments and on physical hardware.
• Coordinate with developers and engineers to implement testing schedules.
• Execute and optimize test procedures with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create software QA procedures and standards.
• Be flexible to take on tasks beyond traditional QA as required.
