Job summary

PACCAR, Inc. is seeking a System Performance Verification Engineer in the United States, WA area, to define and execute verification and testing activities for engine aftertreatment in vehicle and lab environments.

You will collaborate with Engine Integration, OBD calibration and Vehicle Integration teams to ensure successful integration and data collection. The role requires 3+ years of engineering experience, a BS in engineering, and knowledge of diesel emissions and aftertreatment

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant engineering work experience.
• BS in Engineering; MS preferred.
• Understanding of heavy-duty diesel emissions and diagnostics.
• Knowledge of DOC, DPF, SCR & DEF.
• Experience with engine calibration and data collection tools.
• Ability to travel up to 15% (incl. international).

Responsibilities

• Define and execute verification and testing activities for engine aftertreatment.
• Collaborate with Engine Integration, OBD calibration and Vehicle Integration teams.
• Develop and execute process improvements to improve product quality, reliability, and durability.
• Complete reports and presentations communicating findings and recommendations.
• Stay aware of new aftertreatment technologies and testing methods.
• Maintain positive relationships with PACCAR Technical Center and divisions.
