Job summary

Henry Ford Health, based in Detroit, seeks a Nursing Education Leader to drive system-wide nursing education programs across all sites. You will coordinate orientation, competency validation, and clinical practice standards, delivering education and tracking learner progress.

Qualifications

General Summary

Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in training and education, educational design, and delivery.
  • Experience facilitating courses and creating training materials. Knowledge and understanding of adult learning principles, and of a wide range of training methods, techniques, and formats.
  • Must be self-directed, proactive, and able to work independently. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
  • Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
Certifications/Licensures Required
  • Current Michigan RN licensure required, or ability to obtain Michigan licensure.
