Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Detroit is seeking a registered nurse to join our team. The role emphasizes leadership, coordination of high-quality patient care, and collaboration across shifts.

Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, effective communication with the care team and families, and support for patient-centered care. A BSN is preferred; MI RN license required; Midnight shifts available with a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Clinical knowledge to formulate effective nursing care plans.

Job Description

At Henry Ford Hospital, all nurses strive to provide exceptional patient care every day. Henry Ford Nursing uses evidence-based practice, professional practice standards and the Henry Ford Hospital Professional Nurse Practice Model to drive nursing practice.

• Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
• Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team.
• Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
• Position: 36 hours per week
• Shift: Midnights 12 Hour Shifts
• Every other weekend and Holiday Rotations

Education/Experience Required

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Certifications/Licensures Required

• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• Health care provider certification (BCLS).
