Job summary

NVIDIA’s Silicon Co-Design Group seeks a Senior System Level Testability Engineer to join the TMRQ team in California. You will define and drive system-level diagnostics, verification, and post-silicon validation for complex GPU/SoC/CPU silicon, translating requirements into effective test coverage and performing hands-on lab bring-up.

Role requires 8+ years in the field, strong EE fundamentals, and experience with Python, Bash and Linux.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Microelectronics/Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong EE fundamentals: digital design, signal integrity, timing analysis, fault analysis, computer architecture.
• Strong data analysis skills; experience with volume data is a plus.
• Hands‑on lab experience with silicon bring‑up and lab debug.
• Understanding of firmware/driver structures and their interaction with HW.
• Problem solving, debugging, analysis and logical reasoning with examples.
• Experience with Python, BASH, Linux.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HW engineering teams to determine coverage needs and diagnostic contents for production line screens.
• Define requirements to SW and board teams to support test infrastructure and data collection features.
• Co-design testability scope and coverage enhancements for Nvidia's manufacturing testing with a focus on system-level test.
• Prototype and fine‑tune speed, power, performance, yield and quality on pre-production silicon.
• Co-design, develop, and maintain system-level testing flows and correlate to design.
• Define procedures to facilitate correlation between production testing infrastructure and internal diagnostics.
• Support customer facing and quality teams during escalations to fix gaps in coverage.
• Create KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of new tests.
• Drive process improvements and preventative actions through root cause analysis.
