Job description

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your system integration and validation expertise in a new cutting‑edge field. You'll work alongside collaborative and detail-oriented teammates. You'll define and drive the best strategy to integrate all subsystems and validate the transport system requirements, ensuring the delivery of a high‑performing, safe, and compliant transport system.

Day‑to‑day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, operations, maintenance, and client representatives), mentor and develop SI&V engineers, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives – and much more.

We'll look to you for:
  • Defining and managing the overall System Integration & Validation (I&V) strategy in collaboration with project leadership.
  • Optimizing I&V execution by leveraging Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), mock‑ups, type tests, offshore interface and factory integration testing, test track activities, software integration platforms, and on‑site testing and commissioning.
  • Deploying and maintaining SI&V processes aligned with company standards and project requirements.
  • Defining validation methods for each requirement in collaboration with Requirement Managers and System Engineering teams.
  • Coordinating validation activities across all subsystems, including subcontractors and external partners.
  • Managing the I&V lifecycle timeline and ensuring timely collection of validation evidence.
  • Executing functional, integration, and system‑level tests according to approved test plans.
  • Co‑leading the testing program with the System Testing Manager to ensure optimal sequencing of test phases and avoidance of redundant validation demonstrations.
  • Ensuring compliance with contractual specifications, industry standards, safety requirements, and supporting system certification and homologation.
  • Mentoring and developing SI&V and T&C engineers while fostering cross‑functional collaboration and technical excellence.
All about you
  • Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience or understanding of testing and commissioning in rail or transportation systems (~5 years of hands‑on experience preferred).
  • Knowledge of railway systems, electrical power distribution systems, signaling, communication & SCADA systems, and rolling stock systems.
  • Familiarity with validation and verification processes, as well as requirement management tools like DOORS, EWM, ETM, and automated tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Strong system‑level thinking and integration expertise.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel for short or long‑term missions across locations or countries.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays when needed.
  • Rigor, attention to detail, and ability to operate within strict quality processes.
Things you'll enjoy
  • Work with cutting‑edge transportation systems, including electrical power distribution, signaling, communication, SCADA, and rolling stock systems.
  • Progress toward becoming a recognized leader in system integration and validation within the transportation industry.
  • Collaborate with transverse teams and helpful colleagues.
  • Contribute to innovative projects.
  • Steer your career in whatever direction you choose across functions and countries.
  • Benefit from our investment in your development, through award‑winning learning.
