Job summary

Akina, Inc. is seeking experienced System Engineer and System Architect professionals in Annapolis Junction, MD.

The roles involve analyzing requirements, leading design and development activities, and providing technical leadership across integration efforts for IT systems. Responsibilities include creating system engineering plans, architecture documentation, and coordinating with government stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Seven (7) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Ten (10) years experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements, concept of operations, and system architecture to develop system requirements specifications.
• Lead design and development activities based on analyzed requirements.
• Provide technical leadership for integration of requirements, design, and technology.
• Develop and maintain system architecture and design documentation.
• Interact with Government regarding SE considerations and issues.
• Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems and supporting IT infrastructure.
