Job summary

GlobalLogic is seeking a testing engineer to lead maintenance and feature development for driver information and infotainment software in current automotive platforms. You will ensure backward compatibility and reliable functional coverage, collaborating with suppliers and defining testable specifications using MATLAB/Simulink and Vector tools.

Responsibilities include creating test plans, performing regression testing, and developing automated scripts, with strong emphasis on end-to-end product

Qualifications

• In-depth background in automotive electronics, infotainment and Driver Information domain
• Hands-on experience with ADAS function requirements and supplier coordination
• Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink and Vector tools for testing and validation
• Experience creating and executing test plans, regression testing, and automation scripts
• Valid Driving License B and relevant engineering degree required

Lead and manage the maintenance and development of new features in current platform cars, including backwards compatibility software ensuring reliable functional coverage for the Driver Information domain.

Today there is an ongoing project of developing new functions in current cars on the market and the goal is to finalize that project.

The assignment includes working with requirements related to ADAS functions and in close collaboration with suppliers. Considering testing when defining requirements is also needed.

Driving license B is needed.

Requirements

Must have:

Domain Knowledge: In-depth background in automotive electronics, infotainment systems, and the Driver Information domain.

ADAS & Requirements Engineering: Hands-on experience working with ADAS function requirements, supplier coordination, and defining specifications with testability in mind.

Software Tooling: Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink along with Vector tools (CANoe and CANalyzer).

Testing & Automation: Proven track record in creating and executing test plans/cases, regression testing, and developing or optimizing automated test scripts.

Driving License: Valid Driving License B.

Education: Degree in Automotive Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Ownership & Project Finalization: Proven capability to lead maintenance/feature development, manage supplier deliverables, and take end-to-end accountability for product quality.
