Job summary

Boschgroup is seeking a Systems Engineer to shape the future of electric drive for battery electric and hybrid vehicles, collaborating with customers worldwide to deliver innovative power electronics solutions.

You will coordinate system functions, lead requirements analysis with international vehicle manufacturers, create ASPICE-compliant DOORS docs, and lead commissioning on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, physics or equivalent.
• 4+ years of development experience in electric drives with vehicle manufacturers.
• Experience creating requirements with DOORS and broad systems knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Act as systemic main point of contact for internal and external customers.
• Coordinate system functions and lead requirements analysis with international vehicle manufacturers; develop power electronics requirements.
• Lead commissioning activities on site at customers and bring products to life.
• Serve as central development project contact for troubleshooting.
• Perform system analyses using Focus area matrix, DRBFM and FMEA methods.
• Create ASPICE-compliant requirement documentation in DOORS and technical customer docs.

Job description

The Systems Engineer will actively shape the future of the electric drive for battery electric vehicles and hybrid vehicles, both for passenger cars and commercial vehicles, together with our customers around the world.

Core Responsibilities:

• Systemic main point of contact for our internal and external customers
• Coordinate system functions and lead requirements analysis with international vehicle manufacturers and in interdisciplinary teams, develop requirements for power electronics, define release plans, monitor implementation and ensures implementation with suitable tests
• Lead Commissioning activities on site at customers and bring products to life.
• Act as central point of contact within development project for troubleshooting
• Perform system analyses using the Focus area matrix, DRBFM and FMEA methods
• Create ASPICE-compliant requirement documentation in DOORS and technical customer documentation

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Required in field of electrical engineering, mechatronics, physics or a comparable study
• 4+ years of development experience in the field of electric drives in customer projects with vehicle manufacturers
• Knowledge: You have experience in developing requirements with DOORS and broad component, software and system understanding. In Problem Solving you have substantial experience.
