Job description

Responsibilities

• Analyze user’s requirements, concept of operations documents, and high‑level system architecture to develop system requirements specifications.
• Analyze system requirements and lead design and development activities.
• Guide users in formulating requirements, advise alternative approaches and conduct feasibility studies.
• Provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.
• Incorporate new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations.
• Develop technical documentation.
• Develop system architecture and system design documentation.
• Guide system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.
• Interact with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and related problems, issues, or conflicts.
• Hold ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with Systems Engineering.
• Communicate with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.

Required Skills

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must have an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph (within last 5 years).
• Fourteen (14) years of experience as a Systems Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Five (5) years of additional Systems Engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Experience with CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) teams, including integration, configuration, installation, etc.
• Front‑line Engineer experience: troubleshooting systems, maintenance of systems, configurations, installation, customer support.
• Knowledge of Jira.

Compensation Range

$170,000 - $185,000
