Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong systems administration experience.
• Experience with systems architecture.
• Experience troubleshooting computer hardware, software, and network issues.
• Experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and upgrading computer systems.
• Experience monitoring and optimizing system performance.
• Knowledge of workstation/server security, data integrity, backup, and recovery practices.
• Ability to provide technical support to users and work effectively with technical teams.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and define system architectures for new and existing computer systems.
• Configure, maintain, and support computer systems, hardware, software, and network components.
• Troubleshoot moderately complex hardware, software, and network issues.
• Install and upgrade operating systems and layered software packages.
• Monitor, tune, and optimize systems for performance and reliability.
• Maintain workstation and server data integrity using established hardware and software solutions.
• Support system backups, database archive operations, and data recoverability.
• Conduct hardware and software audits to ensure compliance with established standards and configuration guidelines.
• Ensure system performance and security meet operational and user requirements.
• Evaluate existing systems and assist with long-term system planning.
• Provide technical support and training to end users.
• Provide guidance to less-experienced technical personnel as needed.
