Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a System Engineer for a full-time, on-site position in Grand Haven, MI. The role focuses on technical support and comprehensive system engineering for clients across West Michigan. The team operates in a multi-disciplinary environment with admins, engineers, developers, and helpdesk staff.

On-site work at client sites and home office locations is required. Strong Windows Server/AD, VMware experience, and client-facing communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong System Engineering skills with experience in Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Experience in Network Administration including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and firewalls as a secondary skill.
• Technical Support experience in hardware, software, and remote support.
• Effective troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to identify and prevent issues.
• In-depth knowledge of IT concepts and protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certifications such as MCSA or CompTIA A+ are a plus.

Job Summary

This is a full-time on-site role for one of our customers located in Grand Haven, MI. The System Engineer will be responsible for technical support and general system engineering for their clients.
