Job summary

Leidos is looking for a System Engineer with Systems Administration experience and some Software Engineering expertise to join a high-performing agile team. The role provides system and software engineering, development, test, integration and operational support in DEVOPS environments.

The selected candidate will support a complex network, collaborate with cross-functional engineers, and perform hardware/software troubleshooting, patching, and script work using PowerShell or Bash. U.S.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in a technical field with 8+ years of experience, or equivalent military IT experience.
• U.S. Citizenship and Top Secret/SCI clearance with ability to obtain a Polygraph.
• Systems and software engineering work in Agile/DevOps environments.
• Experience with Windows environments and secure engineering practices.
• Shell scripting in PowerShell or Bash; familiarity with virtualization and container tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on system administration for a complex network environment.
• Collaborate with system, integration, test and IA engineers in an Agile setting.
• Assist with hardware/software troubleshooting, patching, and patch management.
• Support development team with system administration and network tasks.
