This range is provided by Troll Systems Corporation. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Base pay range: $80,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr

Job Responsibilities

The System Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and integrating radio frequency (RF) systems and components, ensuring they meet performance and compliance standards.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  1. Determine system specifications: input/output processes and working parameters for electrical/hardware/software compatibility required by the customer.
  2. Assist in the coordination of the design of subsystems and integration of total systems, including system testing.
  3. Incorporate technologies from multiple disciplines including mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electro-magnetics, digital signal processing, and control theory.
  4. Recommend design changes to improve overall system performance.
  5. Responsible for the technical portion of the CRA (Change Request Authorization).
  6. Responsible for creation and maintenance of the PDD (Product Definition Document).
  7. Identify, analyze, and resolve program support deficiencies; develop and recommend corrective actions.
  8. Conduct system level evaluation and testing for compliance of components by specifications.
  9. Communicate with customer/resident engineer regarding design definition.
  10. Coordinate with factory engineering and validation engineering regarding design/test issues.
  11. Develop and execute Customer and Factory Acceptance test plans.
  12. Assist Program Managers with special assignments and engineering tasks.

Nonessential Functions:

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in engineering (BCSC/BSEE/BSME/ISE/AE) or equivalent; 3-5 years of experience as a Systems Engineer or related roles, preferably in electronics manufacturing.
  • Experience in broadcast or satellite engineering, electronics troubleshooting, mechanical troubleshooting, AutoCAD, electronic schematics, multimedia, navigation, and electronic test equipment.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder for access to controlled technology/data (ITAR).
  • Valid Driver’s License.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, Teams, Asana.
  • Proficient in ERP, MRP, Adobe; uniPoint preferred.

  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
