Job summary

TRITECH Communications Inc. is seeking an experienced post-sales systems engineer to support design/build and RFP projects from our New York City area team.

The role requires strong AV systems knowledge, working control systems and DSP familiarity, and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers. You will review RFP drawings, coordinate CAD deliverables, verify functionality, and help drive project success.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5 years in an AV engineer role in a post-RFP environment.
• Experience using AutoCAD.
• Experience with BlueBeam.

Responsibilities

• Review RFP drawings and specs.
• Collaborate with CAD team to meet drawing deadlines.
• Verify system functionality and identify design gaps.
• Develop knowledge of current and new TRITECH technologies.
• Send approved drawings to PM and team; maintain drawing updates.
• Coordinate with PMs and field staff on drawings and changes.
• Review Bill of Materials and release equipment for ordering.
• Design new change order scope for assigned projects.

Overview: post-sales systems engineering

Responsible for providing to technical staff for design/build and RFP projects. Must have a good understanding of AV systems, a working knowledge of control systems and DSP’s, and the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities:

• Review RFP drawings and specs.
• Work with CAD team to meet drawing deliverable deadlines.
• Verify system functionality and identify design gaps.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of current and new technologies that company offers
• Send approved drawing package to PM and team. Maintain drawing updates throughout project as changes occur.
• Maintain regular communication with Project Managers and Field Supervisors regarding projects and drawings/design and address issues.
• Review Bill of Materials and release equipment for ordering
• Create network coordination / IP sheets for projects for PMs & field staff.
• Design new change order scope for assigned projects.
• Other duties as required or assigned by company management.

Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree required, bachelors preferred
• 5 years working in an AV Engineer position in a post RFP position
• Knowledge and experience with AutoCAD
• Working experience with BlueBeam
