Job summary

Tope Technology, LLC is seeking a System Engineer to support the AF Strategic Program Information Services team in Sentinel Information Services. The role involves advising ICBM leadership, modeling system requirements, and participating in engineering groups to drive digital strategy and disciplined data management.

A current Security+ certification and DoD clearance are required, with 3+ years' experience (BS) or 1+ year (MS) in related fields.

** System Engineer **

Tope is seeking a System Engineer to support the AF Strategic Program Information Services team in support of the Sentinel Information Services (IS) team. The selected candidate will join our Information Services team and have an important role in supporting our mission of Strategic Deterrence through continual improvement and innovation. The position will have the following duties and responsibilities:

• Provide expert systems engineering advice and support to ICBM leadership
• Model ICBM system requirements, functions, components, interfaces, and test cases
• Participate in systems engineering working groups
• Provide support to programmatic and technical briefings, reports, and other related documentation
• Regularly engage with Government and Digital Engineering teammates
• Integrate and execute ICBM's digital strategy baseline and provide digital ecosystem recommendations and solutions to a wide customer base
• Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment while possessing high energy, motivation and be comfortable tackling changing priorities.
• Detail oriented with the ability to establish and maintain foundational data and contract data management disciplines
• Experience drafting, routing and interpreting Contracting Authority correspondence
• Familiarity with requirements management, or willingness to learn DOORS
• Familiarity with systems modeling, or willingness to learn Cameo/MagicDraw
• Experience operating under a variety of changing technical, operational, and programmatic network classifications and environments
• Familiarity with SysML and UPDM, or willingness to learn SYSML and UPDM
• Demonstrated self-discipline to plan and prioritize their own work

Position requires a current Security+ Certification , fully adjudicated DoD Secret or Top-Secret Security Clearance and at least 3+ years' experience and a BS degree in software engineering, computer science, software, mathematics, or related field or 1+ ** years'** experience and a MS degree in software engineering, computer science, software, mathematics, or related field.

Other skills desired are:

• DoW related experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
• Excellent cognitive, communication (written and spoken), and interpersonal skills
• Managerial experience operating in a high tempo environment
• Experience with DoW acquisition programs
• Digital Ecosystem and or Digital Engineering understanding, development, and knowledge-based application
• Experience or familiarity implementing architectural frameworks using SYSML.
