Overview:

We are seeking a skilled System Engineer to support a large-scale enterprise environment with a focus on both Linux and Windows systems. This role involves a combination of infrastructure management, application support, and cybersecurity tool integration. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced in maintaining stable and secure systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day support and maintenance for Linux and Windows server environments.
• Perform application-level support, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Manage patching schedules and ensure systems are regularly updated to meet security compliance.
• Support and maintain cybersecurity tools such as CyberArk, Splunk, and Tripwire.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve system-related issues and support enterprise IT initiatives.
• Monitor system performance, logs, and alerts, and take appropriate action to resolve issues.

Required Skills:

• 5–7 years of experience in a systems engineering role within a large enterprise.
• Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows Server administration.
• Familiarity with application support in an enterprise environment.
• Proficiency in patch management and system hardening.
• Experience with cybersecurity and monitoring tools:
• CyberArk
• Splunk
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently and in a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in regulated or critical infrastructure environments.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices and change management processes.
• Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, etc.) is a plus.
• Hybrid schedule requiring 3 days per week on-site in Philadelphia, PA.
• Fast-paced, collaborative environment with opportunities to support critical infrastructure.
