Job Details
- Experience with Engineering and Systems Engineering development processes and phases of the development life cycle (proposal, design, qualification, requirements verification/validation, production, and deployed system support).
- Experience with Risk and Opportunity Management tools and processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with standard documentation and presentation tools.
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent experience with professional experience.
- Active DoD Secret clearance or above.
Responsibilities
- Support Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and program management in Risk and Opportunity Management activities.
- Facilitate Risk and Opportunities Management Board (ROMB) meetings, including with the customer.
- Assess impact of Risks and Opportunities on program schedules and work plans.
- Coordinate risk assessments and mitigation planning across IPTs.
- Ensure coordination of Systems Engineering and Risk and Opportunity activities across the program and major suppliers.
- Support Systems Engineering tasks such as requirement/interface assessment, SDRL generation, and trade study planning and execution.
Desired Skills
- Experience with Systems Engineering for missile or space systems.
- Design and test experience with missile or space system subsystems.
- Experience collaborating with internal/external customers and leadership.
- Ability to lead multi-functional teams and build consensus.
- Experience developing basis of estimates.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage change.
- Systems thinking skills; familiarity with EIA-748 Earned Value Management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MS Project.
- Master’s Degree in Systems Engineering, INCOSE Certification, or relevant Graduate Certificate.
- US Citizenship and ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
Additional Information
This position offers part-time remote telework (<50%) with a flexible work schedule, including 4x10-hour days. It requires a government security clearance (Secret). The location is King of Prussia, PA. The role is full-time, direct employment with Lockheed Martin, within the Sentinel program under the SPACE business unit.
