Job summary

OUTRIGGER Hospitality Group in Hawaii is seeking a System Engineer to support the stability, security, and performance of the corporate network and IT systems across the organization.

You will monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize systems, participate in after-hours on-call rotations, and collaborate with vendors. Five years of IT experience and strong Windows/Microsoft 365 skills are required; hotel industry experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Five years of IT experience in hardware/software maintenance and network connectivity.
• Hotel industry experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft 365; understanding of networking principles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the stability, security, and performance of the corporate network and IT systems through monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization.

Job Responsibilitie s

The System Engineer supports the stability, security, and performance of the corporate network and IT systems through proactive monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization. This role uses strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to resolve technical issues, maximize system efficiency, and support organizational operations while maintaining professionalism when working with employees and vendors across all levels of the global organization.

This position participates in an on-call rotation for after hours and weekend support.

Minimum Requirements

Five years of experience within the IT space directly related to computer hardware and software maintenance, as well as network connectivity on user workstations and corporate servers within a mid-to-large scale company. Hotel industry experience preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 environments, with a solid understanding of core networking principles, including standard network administration tools and methodologies.

While base pay starts at $75,000-85,000 there is potential for a higher salary based on factors such as applicant skill, experience, education.
