Job summary

OUTRIGGER Resorts & Hotels is seeking a skilled maintenance professional to uphold the company’s aloha standard while assisting guests and maintaining essential building systems. The role emphasizes safety, quality workmanship, and guest-focused service.

Ideal candidates have 2-5 years in building maintenance, experience in hotels, and the ability to work overnight shifts with flexible schedules. Training and career growth opportunities are available across properties.

Qualifications

• Trade or Vocational School graduate required.
• 2-5 years of experience in building maintenance.
• Hotel industry experience preferred.
• Must be able to work overnight shifts and have flexible days.

Responsibilities

• Exemplifies the image of “Aloha” while assisting guests in accordance with Outrigger policies and procedures.
• Maintains/serves/fixes/building systems and FF&E as required (life safety, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.).

Job Duties

Exemplifies the image of “Aloha” while assisting guests in accordance with Outrigger policies and procedures. Installs, repairs, services, inspects, tests and maintains furniture, fixtures, equipment (FF&E), facilities and/or the following systems; life safety, heating, cooling, plumbing, ventilation, water, electrical and mechanical.

Trade or Vocation School graduate desired. 2-5 years of work experience in building maintenance is required. Work experience within the hotel industry is preferred. Working knowledge of one or more trades desired (electrical, carpentry, plumbing, painting, A/C refrigeration, landscaping) depending on the individual property needs.

Must be able to work flexible days and shifts and have a strong service-oriented attitude and able to work well with others. This position requires overnight shifts.
